The Charlotte Hosker Scholarship Trust

The Charlotte Hosker Scholarship Trust has been established in the memory of Charlotte Hosker who died of meningitis at the age of 12 years. Charlotte never had the opportunity to fulfil her ambitions in life. The Trust will, in particular, support female students with an ambition to pursue a technical career.
AIMS of the Trust:
•To promote female participation in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM)
•Supporting disadvantaged students to establish a career in STEM
•University bursary scholarships to students seeking a career in STEM
•Financial support students who may be disadvantaged in maintaining sixth form study
•Open to qualifying students from The Purbeck School in Wareham
•Supporting The Purbeck School in maintaining a centre of excellence for STEM subjects
