Despite the pedestrian approach to Wareham train station being flooded, we were able to go on our trip thanks to a last minute lift by minibus.

As has been the case for the last three years, we were made to feel very welcome by Séverine and Sébastien.

We were served an 11 course meal: soupe à l’oignon, escargots, bœuf bourguignon, soufflé au fromage, steak tartare, frites, pommes de terre sautées, crêpes au chocolat, tarte tatin, meringue à la framboise avec coulis de fruits et crème brûlée. As usual, the food was simply utterly delicious, and the welcome warm and friendly.
