The Purbeck School Proudly Opens New Complex Communications Hub

The Purbeck School is delighted to announce the official opening of its newly refurbished Complex Communications Needs (CCN) Hub, created in partnership with the Local Authority. This state-of-the-art facility is designed to support students with complex communication needs, ensuring they can thrive within mainstream education.
The hub features:
A brand-new sensory room
Specially designed classrooms tailored for individual learning needs
Cutting-edge technology to enhance communication and learning
The official opening ceremony was attended by Mayor of Wareham, Zoe Gover, Mayor of Swanage, Mike Bonfield, and local MP Vikki Slade, who met with students, parents, and staff to celebrate this milestone.
The CCN Hub will provide support for up to 14 students, offering an inclusive environment that promotes success and independence.
Headteacher Adam Darley commented:
